Fabric Grotesk is our take on the Neo-Grotesk tradition that defined much of mid-century modern design. Inspired by the visual clarity of the Swiss and International Graphic Style, and by masters such as Armin Hofmann and Josef Müller-Brockmann, we set out to create one of the most versatile and broadly usable typefaces in the Fontfabric library.
Its refined shapes, clean horizontal and vertical terminals, and carefully balanced curves give Fabric Grotesk a timeless, confident feel. Under the hood, it is just as practical as it is polished, with Extended Latin and Cyrillic support, Bulgarian Cyrillic forms, rich alternates, and a display-oriented stylistic set for moments when the design needs a sharper, more contemporary edge.
