Welcome back. While you've been crafting workflows and refining techniques, we've been expanding what's possible in your canvas.
September was a busy month in model releases, with some new models offering big upgrades in character consistency and high quality image generation + editing. Here's what we've learned from the community.
Fresh models in your toolkit
Highlights (with example workflows linked!):

Seedream 4.0 brings enhanced coherence to your generative flows. It's a reasoning model that also generates high resolution 4k images. The refinement quality speaks for itself once you connect it to your existing workflows. May drift in branding consistency, misrender dense or custom fonts, and require prompt tuning for ultra-specific looks.

Nano banana (GPT-2.5 Flash Image) landed early in September – surprisingly capable for quick iterations when you need speed and accuracy of edits. Sometimes struggles with extremely precise edits (cropping, transparency control).

Reve offers a different approach to visual synthesis. Worth experimenting with, especially for conceptual work that benefits from its particular interpretation style. Tends to falter on surreal/abstract prompts or complex scenes.

Kling 2.5 delivers sharper, cinematic visuals with smoother motion and stronger prompt adherence. It handles complex camera moves, dynamic transitions, and multi-character scenes with impressive stability. It's also faster and cheaper than Kling 2.1. Small glitches or physics inconsistencies may still appear in heavily detailed motion sequences.
