We've updated our Scandinavian sans serif, TT Hoves Pro, to version 3.200! We've added new languages and glyphs to further expand the font's functionality and make it even more user-friendly. In this update, we focused on enabling support for even more languages based on the Latin and Cyrillic scripts. We are passionate about diversity and strive to support it through our work. We also added lowercase punctuation and currency symbols for the Uzbekistani Sum, Kyrgystani Som, and Mongolian Tugrik (available in all cases and forms).
Here's an interesting design insight: in the Bashkir localization, the characters 'Ҙ' and 'Ҫ' traditionally have a hanging element with a calligraphic feel. However, this didn't suit the concise style of TT Hoves Pro. To solve this, we looked to the forms of other diacritical marks to strike the perfect balance between a typographically 'correct' representation and consistency with the typeface's overall mood.
