Bodoni PT, a contemporary serif with historical roots, is a flexible type system comprising 33 styles and with options for both long-form text and extra-large headings. It's in fact inspired by the proportions and characteristic typefaces brought into the world by Giambattista Bodoni, "the king of printers and printer of kings."
At the same time, Bodoni PT is fully adaptable to modern needs: performing well both on screen and in print and appearing natural in body text with a design that doesn't look archaic. Typeface weights range from Regular to Extrabold, with a fully realized gradation of optical sizes. Text styles, meanwhile, are well-suited for small sizes whereas subhead and display styles work best for medium and large/extra-large applications, respectively.
